4.5 stars because of the somewhat rushed ending. Other than that, I looooved it!!! Not an original storyline, but written so beautifully that I am going to look for other books by this new to me author right away! Highly recommend!

The title is definitely appropriate here. This is a really ugly story. It takes the concept of angry to a whole other level. Naomi is angry, Turner is angry, their managers are angry, their bandmates are angry, every exchange they have is angry/violent/bloody/insulting, and even their sex is angry to the point that there is no hotness involved. Just anger. I usually enjoy a lot of angst in my romance and when an angry interaction is written well, I love it. But there was so much of it here that it created the opposite effect. It became boring and predictable. If not for the WTF cliffhanger at the end, I would probably not follow up with "Get Bent." I am so freaking curious to see what happens though that I am giving it a shot. On a positive note, the chapters alternate POVS in first person between Naomi and Turner, which I really liked.

4.5 stars! Really nice romance between childhood best friends-turned-high school enemies Tate and Jared. I hadn't picked up any hetero reads in a while, and I am sooo glad I did. The story is full of high school drama and I ate it all up!!! There was some smexy too towards the end, but not overly graphic with dirty talk etc. Quite an emotional read! Recommend!

Man this was really horrible! I am not even upset about it, really. Bad writing, bad plot, and the weirdest dirty talk ever. Oh well, off to the next one.

Very disappointing. I have enjoyed immensely other books by this author, but this not only fell flat, I was close to DNF numerous times. I practically skimmed the last 30%.
